DIGITAL
A broad term, I'm using "digital" to refer to digital photographic imagery and enhancement, processes that do inform much of my painting, as I employ cropping, filters, and magnification after visual recognition of the magical in non-cyber fields. Anecdotal content preserved within the instantaneous digital image and convenience in portability and immediate access lend themselves to painting but also remain as "persisting events" within the camera's womb for further source exploitation. Also inspirational, are the possibilities involving imagery transfer through media portals to available commercial platforms, especially with portraiture.
